How to turn a social media post into an email

Content repurposing is a main idea in The Social Cycle. Creating any material from a great content. Any piece of unique material can benefit from this formula.

However, there has been an ongoing debate on which is better:

Social Media or Email?

With social media, you may discover the material that gets responses and reactions from a big audience. You may also attract a whole new audience, gain real-time feedback on your products and services, and acquire useful testimonials and customer content.

With Email, on the other hand, customers develop relationships with you as they progress through the customer journey. Subscribers may become customers, and customers can become regular customers and brand advocates, thanks to email marketing. Furthermore, email is a more trustworthy method of communicating with customers than social media, where your updates may be subject to the feared algorithms.

It's definitely exhausting to have to commit so much time and energy to both social media and email marketing.

Luckily, we have a solution for that: repurpose and rebrand your social media content in your marketing emails.

Here are the three simple steps on how to repurpose a social media post into an email that may be used for a newsletter.

_______________

Step 1

Take a look at your top 3 - 5 ranking social posts on your preferred platform. When I deal with clients on this, I generally use their Facebook or Instagram accounts because Facebook usually has more post data. Those posts should be copied and pasted into a word document.

Step 2

Remove everything social media-related, swipe up - swipe left - click my bio link - and so on...

Tweak the formatting a little. Include a photograph or a GIF. To emphasize a point, change the font, bold particular words, or change the colors.

Use name inserts at the beginning of the email to give a personal touch.

Step 3

Include a call to action. This may be a simple inquiry or a button that takes them to a certain website. Don't forget to sign off the email with your signature.

BAM!!  Your next email is on the roll!
